Breakfast ramen

Nope, this is a version of pasta carbonara, which is basically bacon and eggs with pasta. This could work for dinner as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Ramen Noodles (discard seasoning)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 pack pre-cooked bacon bits
  • 1/4 cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Boil ramen for 3 minutes. Drain.
  2. Retain ramen in pot
  3. Add bacon to ramen in pot
  4. Mix egg and cheese in separate bowl
  5. Pour over ramen/bacon and stir in pot. Residual heat from pot will cook eggs.
  6. Top with dried green onions

Notes

For an extra zing bring along a pouch of Sriracha from your local Chinese restaurant.

For extra flavor added powdered parmesan cheese that you saved from the last pizza.
